Are you the next online superstar? Interview magazine is on the lookout for the newest, most groundbreaking talent in a new open casting search for artists of all kinds.
Supported by the fashion house Diesel, the magazine is holding a cyber-casting call for actors, directors, musicians, writers, explorers, daredevils, and more -- artists who are using the online community to showcase their creativity and visions.
"The Internet is pop culture's newest frontier," said Ingrid Sischy, editor-in-chief of the publication. "Now the platform to become a star on a global stage is just a few clicks away."
The special online search is timed with the July issue of Interview, which features The First Annual Interview Web Superstar Awards (on newsstands now) given to nine talented go-getters who have used the Internet as a launch pad for their careers.
The online awards seek to support artists who work without agents, publicists, managers, or the machine of an entertainment company.
Founded by Andy Warhol in 1969 as the "crystal ball of pop," Interview magazine is published 11 times annually and features signature celebrity-on-celebrity interviews and coverage of the newest talents in film, fashion, music, and art.
To enter, visit www.interviewmagazine.com. Selected submissions will be showcased on www.diesel.com, and the final picks will be featured on the magazine's website during August.
The deadline for entry is July 31.
